Why a strong trunk lifts everything else

The core is the foundation of movement. A strong core improves posture, balance, and power transfer across the body. Core strength goes far beyond visible abs — it is the link between every limb and every lift.

Think transfer, not crunches

Your trunk's job is to transmit force while resisting unwanted motion. Dead bugs, Pallof presses, carries and hollow holds train that job directly. A thousand crunches build endurance in one plane; carries build a core that works when life gets heavy and uneven.

Breathe like it matters

It does. Diaphragmatic breathing under load — bracing for a squat, exhaling through a press — turns the trunk into a pressure cylinder. We teach breath mechanics in week one because it upgrades every exercise you already do.

A ten-minute finisher

Twice a week, finish sessions with: 40-second dead bug, 30-second side plank each side, 40-meter farmer's carry. Three rounds, perfect form, done. In eight weeks your lifts will feel different — tighter, safer, stronger.

Want it coached? Core Crusher runs five times a week and covers exactly this.
